The Three Ravens College of Therapeutic Shamanism UK

The Introduction to Shamanism days

These one-day workshops run at various times in the year. The day is experiential, and cover the basics of shamanic practice. People usually find them an eye-opening experience that opens a rich and amazing world of possibilities. Participants are shown simple yet profound techniques to enter shamanic reality to reconnect to their own spirituality. No prior experience is necessary. The day includes...

An important and fascinating topic, and Paul is a most knowledgeable and empathetic teacher. The whole class was instantly at ease and engrossed from start to finish. Highly recommended. G.D., Carlisle.

The course fee for the day is usually between £45 - £55, depending on the venue - please check with the person running the day.

Mental health. Shamanic work can be of great benefit with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. However, shamanic work does require a reasonable degree of groundedness. As such, like meditation and other similar practices, it can be contra-indicated in mental health issues such as psychosis, mania, or dissociative disorders. So, if you have any mental health issues (current or historical) which you feel may impact on your ability to journey safely, then please do discuss this with the relevant course tutor prior to booking on the workshop. Any discussion will, of course, be treated confidentially.

The next Introductory Days in 2018 are…

Other days are planned, including (hopefully): the Skipton area, Cumbria, Dundee, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Kendal and Peebles. To be kept informed, please contact me, or sign up to the newsletter here.

Attendance on one of these days enables one to apply for the foundation weekends.
